Frequently asked questions

Can I start from a number other than 1?

Yes. Set the start number to any value — useful when combining documents and continuing the count from a previous part.

Can I add 'Page 1 of N' style numbers?

The current tool supports custom prefix and suffix text. Type 'Page ' as prefix and ' of N' as suffix — note that 'N' is literal, not automatic total count.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Page numbers are added entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Your file never leaves your device.

What font is used?

Helvetica — a clean, universally supported font that embeds correctly in all PDF readers.
